IS YOUR CLUB LEGITIMATE

It's scary and its quite incredible the amount of administration,
that's involved in keeping the doors of a legitimate Club open,
including Public liability Insurance, Personal accident insurance,
continuous Garda vetting for Instructors,
and now a new currently additional and separate Garda vetting for club child protection officers,
First aid certification, National and international level Coaching certificates
by validated by NCTC and Sport Ireland,
that's before we can open the door,
Its the basic commitment required to keep the club going.
As far as National legislation goes its vastly more important year by year.

VERY IMPORTANT TO US and our only Reason for being is the fact that our Instructors are certified
by International Organisations in the Self-protection systems of

  • Kissaki Kai,
  • Law Enforcement Training Systems (LETS),
  • Japanese Karate Style (Wado Ryu )

But as a As a non profit making organisation, in Ireland we are hugely aware of our obligations nationally.

its the only way we have been sustained Since 1979 that's 40 years, now,
at the time of writing this.
Best wishes ,
Now and in the future from one of
the Worlds greatest and most Niche Organisations

Chuck Merriman 10th Dan Goju Ryu
in his new Kissaki Kai gear,
he is a great supporter of the aims  of Kissaki Kai
and the logic of the Kissaki Kai principles in the rules of combat
and is a good friend of our founder Vince Morris 8th Dan.

Kissaki Kai encourages students to avoid confrontation.
However if this is impossible or unsafe, it promotes finishing a fight as quickly as possible with its extremely efficient, quick and brutal response.
Attacks are aimed at the most vulnerable parts of the body, and training is not limited to techniques that avoid severe injury; some even permanently injure or cause death to the opponent. Drills provide maximum safety to students by the use of protective equipment and the use of reasonable force.
Students learn to defend against all variety of attacks and are taught to counter in the quickest and most efficient way.
Training also covers the study and development of awareness to develop an understanding of one's surroundings, learning to understand the psychology of a street confrontation, and identifying potential threats before an attack occurs. It also covers ways to deal with physical and verbal methods to avoid violence whenever possible.
Kissaki Kai is known for its focus on real-world situations and when necessary its extremely efficient and brutal response.
Each Class includes most of the following;
practical application, Critical Analysis, Logic, practical Philosophy, purposeful deception, strategy, Physics, Anatomy, History, Research, Awareness, Physiology, Sociology,
